This is a most peculiar auction. It marries to separate and very different worlds. It's sci-fi meets rock 'n roll head on. It's a Fender Stratocaster guitar, with artwork by Pamelina H. and Michael Lipe, and signed by the cast of Battlestar Galactica.

Not many people know that Jimi Hendrix's first major US tour was with The Monkees. That's right, those lovable psychedelic pop scamps took Jimi the rock behemoth on his first major US jaunt. It's an unlikely pairing no?
